SRC: Beads with Shannon
Wednesday, July 22
1:00pm - 2:00pm
Squamish Public Library
Community Meeting RoomLearn to make bead fish and crabs with Shannon from Wide Eyed Workshop.
Take a splash into the world of Marianna Coppo’s picture book “Fish and Crab” and then learn to bead sweet little fish and crabs using pony beads!
We will start the class with a reading of “Fish and Crab” to get our minds warmed up for beading our sea creatures. Once ideas are swirling, participants will choose colours and learn to follow a beading chart. After our creatures come to life we will tuck them into bed with a blanket and hopefully they drift off to sleep… unlike the stars of our story :)
This program is best suited for kids ages 6-12. Parents are asked to accompany younger kids.
