Join us at the Squamish Public Library for an update on our local bear population.

Michael Allen camera-traps bears to monitor their survival, reproduction, and habitat use strategies across a rapidly changing landscape.

He'll talk about bear identification, the longevity of known bears, cub production, breeding behaviors, climate/beaver dam impacts on floodplain forests, and the berry crop forecast.
