DIY Mini Zen Garden Workshop for Teens
Tuesday, June 09
6:00pm - 7:30pm
Squamish Public Library
Community Meeting RoomPrep for exam season by creating your very own Mini Zen Garden!
Before the stress of exam week and the end of the school year, create a piece of art that will promote calm and mindfulness at the library. Pop by the Squamish Public Library for a relaxing evening of music and creativity. We will walk you step-by-step through creating your own mini Zen Garden to take home.
A Zen garden, or karesansui, is a miniature Japanese garden that features sand, moss, or gravel. Tending to your Zen garden by raking and arranging the elements is a grounding practice that encourages inner peace and mindfulness.
