Sea to Sky Community Services' Legal Advocate will be onsite to answer questions about the program.
The Legal Advocacy Program offers free advocacy support and assistance to financially restricted individuals and families in Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton.
We offer public education, information, guidance, and support during mediation in areas such as human rights disputes, tenancy disputes, and formal appeals for Income Assistance Benefits and referral services. We also work closely with community service providers.
You’ll be able to find a Legal Advocate at the library once a month. They will be available for drop-in conversations, or you can contact them to set up an appointment.
For more information or to set up an appointment, contact Saurav Bajaj at 604-892-5796 or legal.advocacy@sscs.ca.
Conveniently located downtown, the Squamish Public Library has a large meeting room, quiet study spaces, an outdoor pickup window, and an art gallery.
