For kids ages 5-14: This colouring contest will run for the whole month of August.

Pop Out Loud is a book about the big emotions that surround going to school written by local author Sarita Fichtner. Pop Out Loud raises awareness to support highly sensitive people and mental wellness.

"Pop" into the library from August 1st to August 30th to pick up a colouring sheet based on the pictures in her book. Completed colouring sheets can be used to enter a draw to win 1 of 5 signed hardcover copies of Sarita's book, Pop Out Loud! Participants must have a Squamish Public Library card number to enter. 

Contest details:

  • Begins August 1st.
  • Ends August 30th (last day to bring in your colouring sheet and enter the prize draw).
  • Winner announced September 3rd.
  • Pick up a colouring sheet, complete and return to the Library, fill out a slip with your Library card number and enter into the prize draw.
  • Open to children aged 5-14 with a library card number. (No library card? Don't worry, we can sign you up for free!)
