For kids ages 7-12: Learn how to bead your very own lizard charm!
Add a splash of colour to your backpack by creating 90’s inspired beaded lizard bag charms with Shannon of Wide Eyed Workshop. In this class we take a look at the colour wheel and talk about choosing combinations that tickle your brain. After picking our perfect palette, each participant will follow an illustrated guide to bead their lizard and attach the hardware needed for it to catch a ride. There may even be a special amphibious guest joining Shannon to teach the class!
Shannon began sewing tiny stuffed pillowed with embroidered faces at the age of 6 years old and has maintained a lifelong passion for textiles and design. Shannon enjoys bringing a playful, nostalgic edge to her projects by mixing media such as sewing, quilting, beading and knitting. Whether she is sewing at her kitchen table or chasing her kids around the alpine, Shannon’s boundless energy and detail orientation present themselves in every project.
