Journey to Canada's Arctic with John Dunn.
Join us on an expedition as we welcome Arctic adventurer John Dunn to the library! John will share his stories and images of his experiences traversing Canada's High Arctic.
About the speaker:
John Dunn is a wilderness explorer, photographer and lecturer with a fascination for the Canadian Arctic and other wild regions of Canada. A veteran of over 30 expeditions, John shares his images and experiences with a wide audience through his acclaimed presentations. John has organised and successfully completed almost 30 arctic expeditions, totalling over 1200 days in the field. For his efforts in promoting awareness of Canada’s arctic geography John was made a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society. Not satisfied with 13,000+ km of sled-hauling, John has plans for more expeditions in Canada's northernmost region.
